Redox/Oxygen Sensor
ORP is measured using an electrochemical sensor called an ORP or REDOX sensor
The most common type of ORP sensor, like pH sensors, is a combination sensor that has both a measuring and reference electrode. The measuring cell, usually a noble metal such as platinum or gold, detects variations in REDOX potential, whilst the reference provides a steady comparison signal.
Feature
Especially strong industrial electrodes for the most demanding applications.
This product is suitable for operations with high pollutant and hazardous loads, as well as oil-containing media.
It can withstand pressures up to 13 bar and operate at temperatures up to 135 °C.
Applications for platinum cone include chromate reduction, nitrite oxidation, swimming pool and drinking water disinfection.
