We build complete automation solutions using these four technology groups: PLCs, Drives, Information Systems, and Robotics.
PLC AUTOMATION
With few exceptions, a PLC is the foundation of all Aegis Projects Technology Pvt Ltd projects, with applications spanning from machine control, material handling, process control, machine safety, and robot cell management. Our engineers are experts in PLCs, and our experience includes thousands of projects using PLCs from Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and others. In addition to our turnkey solutions, we provide panel manufacturing, HMIs, networking, machine vision, auto ID, and onsite commissioning services.
We specialise in both new installs and retrofits. Aegis Projects Technology Pvt Ltd retrofits and replaces third-party control systems that are obsolete or underperforming. We also upgrade systems that our business installed 15–20 years ago.
MOTION CONTROL AND DRIVE SYSTEM
Every year, Aegis Projects Technology Pvt Ltd installs hundreds of axes of motion control, with experience in VFDs, AC and DC coordinated drive systems, and servo controllers. We install material handling VFDs, web handling, winders, printing presses, 50+ axes of coordinated servos, slitter positioning, and more. Every year, we deliver a large number of drive retrofits, upgrading outmoded technology and increasing productivity, much like with our PLC applications.
INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Making manufacturing data useful. Since our first assignment in 1992, Aegis Projects Technology Pvt Ltd has prioritised information management. Our application experience covers production monitoring, line coordination, traceability, routing, and tracking, as well as interaction with plant business systems. We employ software from Rockwell Automation, Inductive Automation, Wonderware, GE, and Siemens, and we build bespoke code as needed. Our projects range from monitoring a single process to developing plant-wide information solutions that interact with dozens of systems and collect thousands of data points.
ROBOT SYSTEMS
Aegis Projects Technology Pvt Ltd has created and installed hundreds of machine tending applications, and our methods use our previous implementation practices to give cost-effective robot cells to part makers. Plants are increasingly using material removal cells to achieve higher finishes in less time and with less direct labour. In the assembly and material handling categories, Aegis Projects Technology Pvt Ltd uses robot-based solutions to automate operations that are not suitable for manual labour. Robotic case packing and palletising are quickly becoming the norm for high-volume manufacturers, and Aegis Projects Technology Pvt Ltd has provided a diverse range of packaging and palletising cells.
