RTD

RTD – or Resistance Temperature Detectors – are temperature sensors that contain a resistor that changes resistance value as its temperature changes.

RTD

Have been used for many years to monitor temperature in laboratory and industrial processes, and have earned a reputation for precision, repeatability, and consistency. Most RTD elements are made out of a fine coiled wire wrapped around a ceramic or glass core. Because the element is typically fairly weak, it is frequently placed inside a sheathed probe for protection.
